Definatly getting this guy & the other FJ they're releasing.
Going to have to run the risk of the customs guys though as new figures in Britain are about £60-£65 each which is about $100 each. So i'll be ordering them from the states

Nice figure but I don't like the FJ helmet it comes with looks way to small. If I bought one first thing I would do is replace the helmet and have a super figure

Nice addition for the paratroop fans and should prove popular. I can't help saying that I do think this subject is a wee bit over represented in 1/6th, but what sells.......

What You See Is Not Always What You Get

Postby Oberst74 on Fri Jul 03, 2009 9:37 pm

From my experience in the past years owith buying Dragon figures the promo sheets are never accurate. Sometimes they make the figure look better but I have ran into others that the figure looked better "in hand" than on the promotional advertisement. I would have to see the helmet out of box to make a judgement. When Toy Soldier Brigade gets there stock in and parts them out we will get a better look at his helmet. I most likely will get the figure as I need to reinforce my Fallschirmjager collection/army. Cheers. David

I've noticed that many FJ helemts are a small fit unless you're unlucky eough to have a head size smaller than 58 and have been issued a size 71 shell. If I recall, FJ shells were produced in 66, 68, and 71. a regular DML shell on this guy will make him look like a mushroom in a jumpsmock.

I disagree....I've noticed that the Fallschirmjäger and the Kriegsmarine are subjects that are mostly overlooked by DML. Yes, there are more DML fallschims that KM figures, but compared to SS and Heer, a few FJs tossed into the mix is a nice change.

Yeah, Fallshirmjaeger are pretty under represented by DML. Not HORRIBLY so however. But alot of them were very underwhelming to me. Too...samey, not enough pizzaz. Even if its accurate, I dont like having so many figures with K98s in my collection :-P

IMO, the best Fallschrimjaeger before these new guys were the two pack with mortar, Erwin Strangenberg, and Bruno Adler.

As for the Kreigsmarine, theres a reason theres only like three of them :-P They are kinda...you know, sailors. I guess if you wanted to make a U-Boat or something though, you'd need them
